Oware is one of the simplest and most popular Mancala-type games, widely practiced especially throughout Africa; they usually consist of distributing seeds on wooden boards (or directly on the ground) with rows of holes, and captures can be made according to certain specific rules.
In this case the board consists of two rows of six holes each, and each row constitutes the field or territory of the player located closest; 48 seeds are used (stones or any other small object can be used); the movements and the capture rule are very simple, but the game requires a lot of mental calculations.
