How to play Queens Solitaire

Queens is played on a checkered board of variable size. The game consists of placing checkers on the board so that all the squares on the board are attacked. Some of the squares are occupied by obstacles that prevent the checkers from attacking some squares on the board.

The goal is to place on the board as few chess queens as possible, so that all the squares are threatened by one or more checkers.

Pieces are placed on the board simply by clicking on a square on the board; another click will remove them.

Once you get a solution, if it is not optimal you can continue trying to improve the result already obtained until getting the best possible result or finish the time available.

Whenever you play a rated solitaire game in Ludoteka, you are competing against other players. Up to 25 different players will play the same game, during a maximum period of two days. For more information see the solitaire games.

The results are sorted according to the number of queens used and, when the number is the same, the time in which the result was achieved.
